Man sought in E. Idaho slaying nabbed in Cambodia

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) _ Authorities say a man suspected of
killing his mother in Idaho Falls earlier this month has been
apprehended in Cambodia.
Idaho Falls Police say they were notified Thursday that
33-year-old Nathan Helburn had been taken into custody by
authorities from Cambodia and Thailand.
Federal agencies, including the FBI and U.S. Marshals Service,
are coordinating efforts to return Helburn to the United States
where is considered a suspect in the death of 61-year-old Mary
Helburn. Her body was found March 9 in her Idaho Falls home by
police conducting a welfare check.

An arrest warrant for Nathan Helburn was issued two days later.
Investigators believe he stole his mother's car, the fled the state
and the country. Earlier this week, police in California found a
car registered to Mary Helburn.
