Bringing her talents back home

Fifteen-year-old Soriya Warren, adopted from Cambodia by British parents when she was just an infant, teaches drawing to children at the National Borey for Infants and Children (NBIC), an orphanage in Sen Sok district. A talented painter studying at George Abbot School in England, Soriya raised US$900 by selling her artwork back home, using the money to fund a trip to the beach in Kampong Som province for children from the NBIC. She has returned to Cambodia with her family every year since 2001.
